International Airport is located about 15 miles from
downtown. It is the fifth largest airport in the country.

Rapid Transit (BART), which takes passengers
directly to and from the airport. It is a 30 minute

There is also taxi, public transit or shuttle van

with your hotel also they may have a shuttle that
will take you to the airport.
Oakland International Airport is
located in the East Bay. It is smaller, than the San
Francisco Airport. 12 million passengers go through

It has shops, dining and everything you will need
to begin your visit in the San Franciso area. It is
located about 20 miles from downtown San Francisco.
You can use the BART system and it stops right near
the airport. There is also an AirBart shuttle that
will take you all the way to the airport and it runs
every 15 minutes. A taxi ride into San Francisco is

Mineta San Jose International Airport is
45 minutes at least from downtown San Francisco. It's
home to discount airline Southwest, and it's in the
heart of Silicon Valley. This airport is a great option
for business travelers, but is further away from the
city for visitors. Most vacationers use the San Francisco
International Airport or the Oakland International
