San Francisco Internet Cafe - There are numerous internet cafes located throughout the city. It is a good idea to check with them to see which one is closest to where you will be staying. These places are fantastic for doing business on the road, keeping in touch with loved ones or just surfing the net if you want or need to while you are away on your trip. They have everything you will need to have an office on the road. If you need to travel outside of the San Francisco area, don’t worry, there are plenty of the located throughout the state of California for your convenience.

If you have a laptop, most of the hotels, hostels and bed and breakfasts in the area do offer internet access. While some include the service in their room fees some do not, so it is imperative that you find out all the details before you decide to hook up. Nothing can ruin the trip as much as finding a huge fee for Internet Access that you didn’t know you would be getting so be sure and check with the hotel first before using the service. We did find that most of the hostels do include the service in their room rates, which is a definite plus for you the customer. Usually the computer is in a shared room in a hostel vs a private room in a hotel.
