San
Francisco Museums - In the city of San Francisco
there are plenty of museums to spend some time in.
If you are a culture lover then this will be your
wonderful day. There are some of the finest museums
in the nation housed in the city. Please make every
effort to see as many as you can. Spend the day or
two looking at all the fine exhibits these museums
have to offer.
Be sure to see the 4,700 paintings inside the San
Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA).
It also has numerous works of paper and 9,000 photographs
for a total of over 15,000 pieces of works. You will
spend hours in this museum just relishing all the
beautiful works of art that it houses. In the California
Academy of Sciences there is a penguin colony in the
Aquarium and a sky show in the Morrison Planetarium
for just some of the fine things to do at this museum.
It makes for an interesting afternoon and you will
learn a lot of things that you didn’t know before.
If the kids are with you take them to The
Randall Museum. There are rooms for birds,
lizards and a whole lot more for an enjoyable afternoon.
It also has a petting zoo room.
We have listed a few of them below, but keep in mind
there are plenty more. Virtually anything you wish
to learn about there is a Museum in San Francisco
for. That is great to know, so be sure to
see as many as you can.
